Yes.\u00a0 That’s right.\u00a0 I’m writing a new fiction series.<\/p>\n

No.\u00a0 I’m not going to tell you much about it, yet.\u00a0 It will be a surprise.<\/p>\n

But I will share this: It features a female protagonist.\u00a0 It’s set in today’s rural West (as in U.S. West), but, unlike Through Better & Worse<\/em><\/a> and To Have & To Hold<\/em><\/a>, it’s NOT a Western Family Saga, and it’s certainly not Modern Western Romance.\u00a0 It’s got absolutely no profanity and no sex.\u00a0 It’s got no ‘gruel’ \u2014 no gratuitous cruelty, gore, and\/or barbarism.<\/p>\n

Will you like it?\u00a0 I think a lot of people will, yes.<\/p>\n

Why am I writing it?\u00a0 Because I need something in my catalog that will appeal to a broader audience than my more literary efforts.<\/p>\n

I write good books.\u00a0 But, unfortunately, what I’ve published doesn’t fit neatly into a genre.\u00a0 This series will, though.\u00a0 This series will fit right into one major fiction genre that people love.<\/p>\n
