Teacher: Shihan Lei (deceased) (I think I’m spelling his name right, but one never knows. I’m very bad at spelling.)
Teacher who made me realize I could fight back: Forrest W. Lineberry, my husband.
Why this art, Shaolin Kung Fu, and not others I’ve studied (Judo, jujitsu, Karate, Aikido)? Because this one works. For me. The others didn’t “fit.” It’s proved itself. When I’ve needed it, it worked. That’s all I’m saying…at least for now.
